Mobile backscatter inspection complex Backscatter Imaging
Russia's first mobile backscatter inspection and inspection complex. MIDK is designed to inspect motor vehicles, containers and other cargo in order to prevent terrorist threats, detect illegal cargo and protect the public.
Affordable and inexpensive to maintain, convenient for use in urban environments and border areas, the easy-to-use inspection system is built into a standard minibus or car van and provides inspection of objects while moving past them.
Applications

- State border objects
- Customs checkpoints
- Checkpoints

- Objects of critical infrastructure and high level of danger
- Mass events
Threat Detection
MIDK is intended for law enforcement agencies and security organizations. Inspection using the MIDC complex allows you to obtain a high-quality image of the contents of inspected objects and effectively identify dangerous goods or contraband goods.
Technologies
MIDK is a control system based on technology that records X-ray backscattering in order to provide visual control of the contents of inspected objects and the recognition of contraband goods and other hidden threats. Inspection occurs through one-sided radiation scanning of stationary objects as the MIDC moves past them. A high-quality image of the inspected objects is displayed in real time on the monitor screen of the system control operator, which allows you to quickly detect the presence of hazards and immediately take measures to prevent them. Newest
technologies make it possible to detect explosives and narcotic substances, other commercial investments hidden in vehicles, as well as illegally transported passengers.
The MIDK operator's workplace is located on the passenger seat next to the driver and is equipped with a laptop computer with a high-resolution display, Windows operating system and INTRO PRO BS software.
INTRO PRO BS software
One of the key factors for the success of MIDC is the INTRO PRO BS software, which, in interaction with the detection system, allows you to obtain a high-quality image of the inspected object in real time. INTRO PRO BS is designed to control all functions of the inspection complex, including system management and work with images.
Standards and patents
The MIDK is made in compliance with the requirements of state and international radiation safety standards, including:
- Sanitary rules and regulations SanPiN 2.6.1.2523-09 “Radiation safety standards (NRB-99/2009)”
- Sanitary rules and standards SP 2.6.1.2612-10 “Basic sanitary rules for ensuring radiation safety (OSPORB 99/2010)”
- Sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations SanPiN 2.6.1.3488-17 “Hygienic requirements for ensuring radiation safety when handling radiation installations”
All key solutions are patented.
Vehicle options
At the customer's request, the inspection complex can be placed in a minibus or van.
Ratings are based on testing conducted in accordance with ANSI 42.46-2008, which specifies test methods and test devices for certifying the image performance of X-ray vehicle inspection systems. The standard applies to X-ray systems using backscatter.
