The BLOKPOST company presents a new model of an arched metal detector - BLOKPOST RS I 6 with a non-contact, high-precision pyrometer. This metal detector is designed not only to detect prohibited metal products, but also to measure the body temperature of a person entering the frame. The inspection takes place in streaming mode with an alarm signal being issued when the established limit value is exceeded. Signals for the presence of metal objects and excess temperature can be different in tone and volume, and the light signals are also different. The security service can easily determine which indicator has been exceeded. RS I 6 with a pyrometer, like all BLOKPOST metal detectors of the latest generation, has standard sensitivity and noise immunity and is capable of distinguishing household metal objects from prohibited ones.
Individual packaging of the metal detector allows you to protect the device during storage and transportation to its destination. The safety of the equipment is guaranteed by double-layer cardboard boxes, foam partitions, both between the elements and the packaging; Separate packaging for each part. The BLOKPOST RS I 6 model has the function of monitoring several hundred metal detectors, configuring and managing them using one server. Integration into an access control system
A pyrometer built into a separate control unit determines the temperature of those entering the detector target down to hundredths of a degree. If a pre-configured limit is exceeded, it generates an alarm signal to the main control unit of the metal detector, after which an audible siren is activated and a signal is given to close the doors or turnstiles. (if there is an additional option - “dry contact”).
Parallel operation
When operating in parallel, it is recommended to place BLOKPOST RS I 6 metal detectors at a distance of 50 cm from each other. This equipment has several operating frequencies, which reduces mutual interference between adjacent metal detectors and provides the possibility of parallel operation. It is recommended to set different operating frequencies for metal detectors located next to each other.
The distance between metal detectors operating in parallel depends on the sensitivity level and frequency combination. The minimum distance acceptable for operation is determined based on the conditions at the installation site.
Operating principle of a metal detector
The operation of a modern arched metal detector is based on the use of an electromagnetic field. The use of super-strong coils in the design for each row of inspection zones allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the detector for the entire device as a whole or for each zone separately. Signals transmitted and received by the side antenna panels are processed by a microprocessor in the control unit and output to light display panels and a detection screen with a grid of inspection zones.
