Electrochemical analyzer "Delta-1"
The analyzer of precious metals and alloys is manufactured in Russia and meets international standards. The device is recommended for use in customs services and other structures that have access to precious metals; the Federal Customs Service of Russia is widely used.
In addition to metals and alloys, the Delta-1 analyzer can be used to identify some precious stones:
- diamonds;
- corundum;
- beryl;
- zircon.
The operating principle is based on measurements of the thermal conductivity of the analyzed objects.
Operating principle of the Delta 1 analyzer
The detector is a small solid unit with a built-in sensor, monitor and processor. The device identifies metals by measuring thermal conductivity. The processor processes the data within a few seconds and displays the result on the monitor.
After switching on, the device runs a self-test. You can begin analyzing the material after the “ready” message appears on the monitor. You can select the identification mode using the “mode” button; the “ok” button is needed to select the size of the precious metals or alloys being examined.
For identification, the device uses a needle that is connected to a built-in temperature sensor. The sensor heats up to the desired temperature. When it comes into contact with a precious metal or stone, the metal heats up; the degree and time of heating enable the processor to accurately identify the object being examined.
Scan order:
- turn on the device;
- wait for the sign “ready”;
- select mode;
- place the sensor vertically on the object being analyzed so that a drop of electrolyte falls on it;
- The sensor must be in contact with the object before the results appear on the screen.
The measurements will be completed when the device emits a series of short beeps. The message “remove the sensor from the product” will appear on the screen. The display will show information about the type of metal or gemstone and alloy composition. For gold, information about the sample number is additionally displayed.
The results are displayed for 30 seconds, then you can scan other items. The device does not have a built-in memory and is used for on-site testing of metals. There is no data transfer function.
