Gamma radiation dosimeter with the function of detecting vapors of toxic substances DKG-RM2012M, DKG-RM2012MA, DKG-RM2012MB
Description
The device continuously measures the DER and DE of gamma radiation, carries out simultaneous and separate detection of toxic organophosphorus compounds (sarin, soman, V-gases) and arsenic-containing substances (Lewisite), signals when PTV is detected and when the established thresholds for DER and DE are exceeded, and stores the history in non-volatile memory. An impact-resistant housing, a high-contrast display for working in sunlight, two large buttons for operating the device while wearing protective gloves - all this makes the DKG-RM2012M indispensable for working in extreme conditions.
Operating principle
The DKG-PM2012M dosimeter consists of two independent modules:
Gamma radiation dosimeter module
Registration of gamma radiation is carried out on the basis of a Geiger-Muller counter - continuous monitoring of DER and DE of gamma radiation, alarm when threshold values are exceeded.
Toxic vapor detection module
Registration of the presence of toxic vapors in the air is carried out using an ionization chamber with a built-in source of beta radiation 63Ni and forced pumping of analyzed air through it - simultaneous, separate detection of the presence in the air of organophosphorus compounds (sarin, soman, V-gases) and arsenic-containing substances (lewisite).
The operating algorithm of the device ensures the continuity of the measurement process of DER, DE, PTV in air, statistical processing of measurement results, and rapid adaptation to changes in radiation intensity (setting the measurement time in inverse proportion to the radiation intensity).
The device is intended for use by civil defense units, rapid response teams, NBC protection units, emergency rescue teams, customs and border services and other similar formations.
The device is designed to measure individual dose equivalent and dose rate of gamma and X-ray radiation. The device is available in four modifications.
Modifications:
DKG-RM2012M – basic modification.
DKG-RM2012MA – differs from DKG-RM2012M in the limits of the permissible basic relative error in DER measurement and in the extended range of DE measurement.
DKG-RM2012MV – differs from DKG-RM2012M in the limits of the permissible basic relative error of DER and DE measurements, the extended range of DE measurements, the presence of a USB interface (for data exchange with a PC) and a Bluetooth module (for data exchange with a smartphone). *The device is subject to certification.
