Wide-range and highly sensitive dosimeter “DRG-07A “TOPAZ””
DRG-07A "TOPAZ" is a wide-range and highly sensitive dosimeter with the functions of searching for gamma radiation sources, measuring the dose rate H*(10) and the exposure dose of gamma radiation.
Purpose
Operational monitoring of the radiation situation, search and localization of gamma radiation sources, drawing up radiation maps of the area

Design
Structurally, the dosimeter is made in the form of a basic gamma radiation detection unit in a cylindrical housing, which houses a scintillation gamma detector, electronics units, and devices for wireless and wired communications.
The dosimeter has several options for mounting the base unit:
- on the handle with PDA (smartphone) holder
- on a telescopic rod
- on the wall (with the possibility of power supply from an external source)

The PDA (smartphone) is used to display the measured dose rate, exposure dose of gamma radiation and pulse counting rate. The software allows you to set operating modes, exchange files between the gamma detector and the PDA, as well as transfer, process, store and view measurement data.
The instrument comes with a carrying case that holds the instrument and accessories for field use.
Operating principle
The dosimeter converts quanta of ionizing radiation into pulse amplitude using a scintillation detector, followed by their analysis by a multichannel amplitude analyzer.
