The SPHINX VM-611 Whirlwind T metal detector is an innovative development that combines all the best search and operational characteristics.
The sensitivity in this model can be considered a reference, the one that all manufacturers want to achieve, but sensitivity without the absence of false positives is ineffective. The “Whirlwind T” model has a protection function against nearby radio stations and thermal compensation that adjusts sensitivity in real time depending on the ambient temperature. There is the possibility of manual sensitivity correction, two programmable, independent sensitivity levels depending on the tasks (the function is available through the engineering programming mode). Example: searching for SIM cards from mobile phones, blades, needles or the opposite solution, you can concentrate search tasks on dangerous objects, a gun, a knife, and you can switch between these modes with just one button.
The SPHINX VM-611 Whirlwind T metal detector model has maximum performance characteristics. Consumption is only 3mA, the device can be used continuously for more than 100 hours with an alkaline battery or about 400 hours with a lithium-ion battery (1200 mAh capacity).
Ease of use includes a modular wall-mounted charger. It can be used to charge the battery included in the kit. The charger also serves as a storage place for the metal detector on site (optional).
