The PM5000B series of radiation portal monitors are highly sensitive fixed systems capable of monitoring the movement of radioactive materials. The devices are recommended for testing passenger cars and trucks, as well as trains.

Gamma, neutron and gamma-neutron radiation monitors are installed at border and customs checkpoints; at facilities using or producing nuclear materials; at the entrance control point at enterprises to prevent radiation sources from entering technological processes that use or process secondary raw materials.

Operating principle of "URK-PM5000B"

The devices can be mounted on bases on the ground, suspended on special supports or walls and are designed for operation in unfavorable climatic conditions. Depending on the requirements, monitors can be single- or double-sided, and can also have different heights of the control zone and test for gamma, neutron, or both types of radiation simultaneously. Car monitors can be equipped with video surveillance systems, the ability to exchange data with a computer and paging communication with specialists responsible for performing radiation monitoring procedures.
