The WATSON scanner is a domestic development and is used for non-contact inspection of objects using X-ray radiation with one-way access to the object being examined. It is in service with the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, like its alternative “KDI 2M”. The device is constantly being modernized in order to ensure maximum convenience for personnel when constantly working with the complex. Indispensable when carrying out inspections at mobile checkpoints, where it is not possible to install and operate stationary inspection systems and complexes.
