It has a subject table with a perforated area for pneumatic pressing of papers. Surface scanning is carried out through a magneto-optical head equipped with a magnetization system.

The difference between the Regula 7701 and 7701M models
The Regula 7701M model allows additional assessment and comparison of the magnetic characteristics of document security elements. The “Magnetic measurements” function for the 7701M model allows you to obtain a histogram of the normal component of magnetic induction Bn (in Tesla) for one frame and calculate the magnetic flux modulus Фn (in Weber) in this area of the frame, as well as comparatively estimate the distance (d) between the histogram of the document under study and the sample. Comparison of the obtained parameters (Bn, Фn, d) of the document under study and the sample allows us to draw a conclusion about the authenticity of the document under study, as well as the degree of wear or damage to the magnetic image.
